Aye, dengue fever is now rampid in the Caribbean. I got the bug 2 weeks ago. Nasty! Playing on the computer was not on the cards, nor was much of anything else, really. The Doc says I should be better by this weekend.

We have a particular interest in how the outbreak is being handled there, especially now that we believe a transient visitor passing through St. Maarten brought the virus to the British Virgin Islands a the end of November. We are still investigating, but the evidence is becoming quite clear.

And where might you have picked up the Dengue virus, may I ask?
If anywhere in the Caribbean or the Americas, we would love to know how you were actually treated and taken care of once you were diagnosed.
The Coalition tracks those things and are gathering such anecdotes.
